CO Alarm System

Ⅰ. Function:

The system is used to detect the existence of the CO, once the detector tests that CO exists and the concentration reaches the alarm level, it will send a signal to the Alarm, the Alarm then sends timely acoustic and light out to arouse the people in the site to leave immediately, and avoid the toxic tragedy.

Ⅱ. Main Features:

Ⅲ. Installation Positions and Special Notes

    Plug the CO detector to the socket in the place where CO can easily exists, and plug the alarm to the socket in the place where people like to gather together. Remember that the distance between the detector and the alarm is no more than 100m, there is no big metal door between the detector and the alarm neither. You can press the ‘TEST’ button on the detector to see whether the alarm can work properly after the installation, the alarm works properly if it sounds, and vise versa.

Special Note:

※Do not install the detector in temperatures

 below -10℃ or above +50℃.

※Do not install the detector in places alive

  with water drops or vapor where there is too

  much moisture.

※Avoid using hairsprays, pesticides, paints,

  adhesives, thinners, alcohols, etc, which may    

  affect the sensors.

Ⅳ. The operation

   The system can work automatically after the installation. It will send a signal to the Alarm when the detector tests that CO exists and the concentration reaches the alarm level, the alarm can send out the  acoustic and light to arouse the people in the site to leave immediately, and avoid the toxic tragedy.

   1. The way to disarm the siren:

      1) The siren will blow up while detecting the existence of the CO, and the siren will automatically stop in 2 minutes.

      2) The siren will blow up while detecting the existence of the CO, and the siren will be terminated by pressing the “Mute” button on the alarm.

   2. LED Indicators:

      1) CO Detecor

①Power Indicator: The light is on when power is on.

②Alarm Indicator: The light is on when the concentration of CO exceeds the alarm level.

         ③Test key: the key is used to test normalization of the communication between the detector and the alarm.

      2) The Alarm

①Mute Button: The button is used to stop the siren manually.

②Alarm Indicator: The light is on when the concentration of     

CO exceeds the alarm level.

         ③Power Indicator: The light is on when the Alarm is power on.

Ⅵ. Trouble shooting

1.       When pressing the Test Key on the detector after the installation, the alarm indicator on the detector does not work.

1)      examine whether there is power supply to the detector.

2)      The detector is faulty.

2.       The siren does not blow up when the alarm indicator on the detector is on.

1)      examine whether there is power supply to the alarm.

2)      The distance between the detector and the alarm is too far.

3)      The installation position of the detector or the alarm is not correct.

4)      The alarm is faulty.
